Today’s Spiritual World, An Opportunity And A Challenge
If you are reading this right now, you are searching and seeking answers. 2018 is a period of confusion, chaos, and fear. It is a period of changes, spiritual growth, and opportunities. We have no idea what will happen from one day to another. We wake up with uncertainties and go to sleep with challenges and fears.
In between all this we are finally discovering an inner need to find out who we are spiritually. I am referring to our individual inner reason for existence and our role in, whatever God is, plans. I am not speaking about any religious doctrine or structured belief that has been passed down from one generation to another. Compared to 40 years ago, we have a vast access to information about spirituality, psychic development, and higher consciousness. Now, how much of that knowledge is good or valid, that’s a whole different story. So many “experts” are bombarding YouTube and the internet with their philosophies, and “how to” ideas of helping you become more spiritual and psychic.
So then the question becomes what do we believe and what do we ignore?
You have to dig into thousands of volumes before something hits home and you can relate to it. But at least we have the resources available for us to compare with our own experiences. The key is to pick and choose what resonates with our own beliefs and experiences.
I began my psychic experiences, and attached fears, at the young age of six. It was not until the age of 23 that I discovered a group of individuals, similar to myself, who were opening to certain abilities but had no idea how to handle or manage them. I finally found others who were as different and “weird” as myself, trying to make sense of it all.
Before this, in the 80’s, I would go to the Occult section of the library, the only section I could find for “New Age” information at the time. I would browse through books while constantly looking around to see if anyone was staring at me thinking I was a devil worshiper.
In today’s world we have videos, groups and centers opening to teach and share. At the same time, we need to use caution, for there are certain agencies whose job is to fill the internet with false and useless information to keep us confused and off balance. Those who hold power do not want us to learn the truth because it takes away from their ability to control us.
If we all can discover our true potential as spiritual enlightened beings, we also realize that we cannot be controlled. Many of us have become puppets. We accept rules and regulations without questioning. We are too tired just trying to exist that no energy is left to argue or question things.
My advice is to never stop questioning what you read or are told. Discover your own answers by taking bits and pieces of other people’s ideas and create your own reality.
Don’t question if you are crazy, but rather question if your craziness is starting to make sense. My own personal psychic and spiritual discoveries change over time as I discover new ideals or ways of doing things. I realize no one will ever know everything, for if we did, the excitement and challenge is gone. But if we can share what we do know and open our minds and souls to seek answers, then spiritual growth has a place to plant its roots.
Experiment with caution, seek groups that hold common interests, before visiting a psychic see if you can get someone else’s opinion of their visit, while at the same time knowing that we all can have different versions of the same experience. Turn your spiritual growth into a fun adventure, not a chore or responsibility.
